My Grandmother

To the woman who taught me how to clean a mushroom and bake the perfect cheesecake.

To the woman who showed me that a delectable salad in a wooden bowl with none other than Good Seasons Italian dressing was sometimes the tastiest part of a meal.

To the woman who made me understand that homemade waffles and a heaping amount of powdered sugar are the best way to have breakfast.

To the woman who thought chocolate, ice cream, or just about any dessert for that matter were an important food group.

To the woman who gave me her love of anything lemon.

To the woman who made me appreciate clothes, shoes, and jewelry because dress-up time was always a must when coming over.

To the woman who modeled that you can be classy at any age in life.

To the woman who could talk hours about dancing and actually enjoy every minute of it.

To the woman who had a love for music.

To the woman who always supported me in everything I did.

To the woman I'll miss more than words can express.

This isn't a good-bye but rather a see you later.

I will always love you, Grandma.
